A rare archive of material connected to Dew Doo Man Records, the beloved, short-lived label Prince Paul launched in 1991 under Russell Simmons and Lyor Cohen's Rush Associated Labels imprint. Granted his own label while still in his early twenties, Paul rejected more conventional, marketable names in favour of Dew Doo Man, a name and logo drawn from a cartoon character he had doodled in school. 

The lot includes a collection of original Dew Doo Man Records promotional stickers and two sealed enamel pin badges, surviving examples of the label's branding from a period when its output was famously limited and its existence brief.

Despite it’s abrupt ending, the label occupies an outsized place in hip-hop folklore and is frequently cited among the genre's most memorable and eccentric experiments. Material associated with this label is scarce, and documents one of the most obscure and little-seen chapters of Prince Paul's career
