A signed, one-off custom delay unit built by Jahtari, the German dub and reggae label founded by Jan Gleichmar. Named after a combination of the words ‘Jah’ and ‘Atari’, the label built its identity around classic dub and roots reggae production made using laptops and digital tools rather than vintage studio hardware, packaged in a deliberately lo-fi, 8-bit-inspired aesthetic.
True to that ethos, this unit houses a Korg Monotron analog delay circuit inside a repurposed vintage Commodore computer case, a signature piece of Jahtari hardware hacking that turns an old home computer shell into working studio gear.
The unit is personally signed and inscribed "Martyn 3024" on the rear housing, and comes directly from Martyn's own studio.
