It was acquired in the early 1990s from a Black-owned VHS rental store in Boston, Massachusetts, whose owner had previously worked at an independent Los Angeles cinema during the 1970s and preserved original theatrical posters after each film’s run.

This is an authentic first-release theatrical poster, not a later reproduction, and has remained carefully stored within Amir’s collection for more than three decades, resulting in exceptional overall presentation.
