A rare archive combining production and promotional material from The Wedding Present’s landmark debut album, George Best. At its centre are original Town House mastering acetates bearing handwritten production annotations, created during the album’s manufacturing process prior to commercial release.

Accompanied by original record sleeves and a surviving retail display featuring football icon George Best, the collection documents both the production and promotion of one of the defining British independent albums of the 1980s.

A percentage of Chris Allison's proceeds from this collection will be donated to Restore The Music charity (restorethemusicuk.com), a social impact charity that addresses systemic inequality in music education by providing capital grants to state schools in areas of high socio-economic deprivation.
